Mt. Comfort Airport

I had the pleasure of hanging out this afternoon at the Mt. Comfort Airport and doing some great photos. I'm hoping to get the opportunity to do more and possibly get involved with the Air Show.... Stay tuned!

Let the Senior Season begin!

I got to photograph Haley on Friday. Haley's a 3 sport star from central Michigan. She's cousins with Kelley Kneiper, (Carmel H.S. 2008), who I had the privilege of photographing last summer. Apparently, colleges are calling and it'll be interesting to hear where she gets to spend her college years. In the meantime, she has to endure one more year of high school and stay healthy and pitch perfect games and manage school work and a cool boyfriend named Levi. More pics will be on Pictage in a few more days. Thanks to Patty Roach for connecting me with Haley. I appreciate the referrals and if you like what I do, pass me on to all your friends and family like Patty has!

Lora's Headshots

I had the opportunity to photograph Lora the other day and had a great time getting some really nice shots. I'm going to make it a point to post a new set of pics of the headshots I do each week. Usually I do about 10 a week, so I have lots of variety to show my fans.

Isn't is interesting how people think they're not photogenic??? I find it laughable. They just haven't had a good photographer take their photos. If I had a nickel from each person that says "I don't take good photos" I'd be very wealthy. Of course they'd be wealthy too because every time I hear that phrase, I always say, "Well I do".

Who's next?

The Rest of Rachael...

Here's a few more of my shoot with Rachael. If you want to see the whole shoot, you can go to my Pictage page and check them out@ http://www.pictage.com/454078

The Pictage has the unprocessed rest of the shoot, so you can see what happened in a lot of these. Some were so good, I just didn't have to do anything to them, but I really am pleased with the results.

More Rachael...

Rachael was such a great model to work with. We really hit a homerun on Wednesday. I have so many great photos, but here's a few more of my favorites. Tomorrow I'll finish up the set for you to see.
Thanks Rach!

All In A Days Work

What a day! It's not often I have three different gigs in one day. Fortunately 2 of them were at the same place. The prestigious and amazing Columbia Club in Downtown Indianapolis and the other was all the way up at my studio space in the Pyramids.

I want to send out a huge thank you to Mr. A.J. Ploughe, catering manager at the Columbia Club.
A.J. invited me to photograph a luncheon with the Perfect Wedding Guide associates to photograph the event, mix and mingle with other associates in the Wedding/Event field and do some great photos of the Grand Ballroom on the 10th floor. He also opened up the Club to me additionally to photograph a model I've had the luck to work with in the past.

With A.J. and G.M. & C.O.O, Maarten Van Wijk's gracious permission, I was allowed unfettered access to this local & national landmark. As you can see, both the Crystal Terrace and the Grand Ballroom are two of the premier ballrooms in the city.

Thanks again A.J., Marty & Rachael!

Who's this Brian guy?

My photo
I'm one of the few people from Wyoming in the midwest. Born and bred, by default I'm a cowboy, through life though I guess I've kept the wanderlust and taken it urban. Having lived in 11 states now, I feel safe to say that I've found home in Indy. I'd never have dreamed I'd live here but 5 years later, I have no complaints! I've been a "lifestyle" photographer for quite a while. Cutting my teeth in landscape photography and photojournalism out West I've developed a style that focuses on simplicity, beauty and life lived well.
